Intercambio de Contactos Enables Subscribers to Stay Connected by Automating the Exchange and Maintenance of Up-to-Date Contact Information  

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, May 14, 2007 – Orange Dominicana, pioneering in GSM technology in the Dominican Republic , announced the launch of a new contact management service for all its mobile phone subscribers.  The new service, called Intercambio de Contactos, will enable Orange subscribers to automatically send, insert and update contact management information with a click of a button - eliminating the process of manually entering names and numbers.  This service complements the introduction of the new 128k SIM cards that offer new services to subscribers. 

Intercambio de Contactos is available to all Orange Dominicana subscribers who activate a new SIM card after May 14, 2007.  To begin using Intercambio de Contactos, subscribers simply need to set up their profiles by entering their name, mobile, home and office numbers. Once the setup is complete, subscribers will be asked to “Send my profile?” after a call is made. The subscriber chooses which profile to send (e.g. mobile only, personal, business, all or none) before clicking a button to send his or her contact details via an SMS.  The recipient receives a message on his mobile phone asking if he would like to save the sender’s contact details to the SIM phonebook.

Este Nuevo servicio llamado Intercambio de Contactos, permitira a suscriptores de Orange Dominicana enviar, agregar y actualizar automaticamente informacion de contacto en la tarjeta SIM con un solo clic, eliminando asi el proceso de ingresar manualmente nombres y numeros.
