About Telsim

KKTC Telsim is the first GSM operator in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The company is a subsidiary of the global Vodafone Group. The company still operates under the brand KKTC Telsim in Northern Cyprus. It was granted a licence in August 1995, and started service on October 23, 1995.

KKTC Telsim has approx. 150,000 subscribers which corresponds to 43% of the Northern mobile Cyprus subscriber base.
